This webinar will be facilitated by the National Open Disclosure Office. We are pleased to announce that our speakers will include:

• Mr Ken Mealy, National Clinical Lead for Surgery;
• Dr John Fitzsimons, Consultant Paediatrician and Clinical Director for Quality Improvement, National Quality and Patient Safety Directorate;
• Georgina Cruise, National Manager of the Patient Advocacy Service

PURPOSE OF THE WEBINAR:

This webinar is the third instalment in the webinar series on the Patient Safety (Notifiable Incidents and Open Disclosure) Act 2023. This webinar will have particular focus on the list of Notifiable Incidents, as listed in Schedule 1 of the Act, which are mandated by law to action the regulatory notification requirement and disclosure of the incident. Each Notifiable Incident has its own criteria and requirements, which will be further explored during this webinar.
